Who doesn't know about gravit---y. Fair enough a lot of people don't know about it here. But no, basically, gravity means that objects will generally be pulled towards objects of greater mass. And it's what makes us perceive weight, because we're all being pulled harder towards the planet than anything else we experience normally.
